1. Earning Money at Battle Chateau

One of the best ways to earn money in Pokemon X and Y is by heading to the Battle Chateau once you’ve achieved a high rank. Trainers here reward you with amounts ranging from 1,000 to 20,000 Poke Dollars, with higher rewards based on your rank. To maximize your earnings, equip the Amulet Coin and activate the Prize Money O Power. These bonuses stack, meaning you’ll earn even more money after each battle.

2. Earning Money in Lumiose City

Another great method to earn money is by battling at the restaurants in Lumiose City. You can use lower-level Pokémon to challenge the trainers, who will use stronger Pokémon. 3. The Comet Shard Trick

For a one-time money-making opportunity, visit Anistar City and talk to the Old Man near the Poké Mart. He’ll ask you to lend him a Pokémon that’s Level 5 or lower. After a few days, return to find out that the Old Man has passed away. You’ll find your Pokémon alongside a letter and the Comet Shard. You can sell the Comet Shard for a large sum of money.

You can heal your Pokémon by using Wi-Fi battles. Simply start a battle with an opponent over the internet, and your Pokémon will be healed. Then, cancel the battle, and you’ll be sent back to the search screen. While your opponent may not be pleased with this, your Pokémon will be fully healed, and you didn’t need to spend any healing items.

5. Farming Heart Scales

Heart Scales are valuable items used to teach your Pokémon moves via the Move Relearner. A great way to farm them is by using a Pokémon with the Thief ability. Head to Route 8 on the Muraille Coast, where you can encounter Luvdisc using the Old Rod. Luvdisc has a 50% chance of holding a Heart Scale, so use the Thief move to steal it.

6. Unlimited Rare Candies

Rare Candies are a coveted item in Pokemon X and Y, and you can acquire them through Poke Miles. Earn Poke Miles by using the StreetPass or Wonder Trade systems.
